Jahangir Mohammed

Jahangir Is the CEO of Communica Consulting which has provided charity advice, representation, and management services to hundreds of charities over the last decade. He is a specialist in charity management and issues. He has previously worked as a senior manager in and around local and national government for 25 years in the field of community regeneration, where he was responsible for funding and monitoring hundreds of communities, businesses, and regeneration projects through government programmes. He has extensive experience in understanding Britain’s Muslim and diverse multicultural communities from a charity and community development context. 

He is also the founding Director of the Ayaan Institute a UK-based think tank established in 2021, focusing on the development and shaping of a Muslim world that is independent, united, prosperous, and free from wars and conflicts. He is the author of Ayaan’s report “Aiding the Ummah: Analysing the Muslim Humanitarian Charity Sector in the UK.”  He is a prolific writer, thinker, and commentator on Muslim affairs, and has 30 years of experience studying and analyzing Islamic movements. He has written 12 expert geopolitical or assessment reports for lawyers in terrorism/extremism cases. 

Rahim Jung

Rahim Jung is a British television presenter and lead fundraiser with over 15 years of fundraising experience. Known for his work on channels like Islam Channel and British Muslim TV, he combines his media presence with a strong commitment to charity and community initiatives. Rahim is also actively involved in interfaith dialogue, using his platform to promote understanding and support important causes, making a significant impact both in the media and the charity sector.

Zeba Qureshi

Zeba is a seasoned marketing leader with expertise in product, B2B, and events. She operates at the intersection of technology, media, and advertising, where she leads and executes EMEA event and B2B marketing strategies. Zeba drives growth and revenue through impactful, data-led initiatives, utilizing her skills in both strategy and execution to deliver tangible results. She is passionate about connecting communities and empowering the British Muslim professional industry. Zeba holds the position of UK President for Muppies (Muslim Urban Professionals) and has also led the Muslims at Google ERG network in the UK. Currently, she leads Muslims at TikTok.

Asad Rehman

Asad Rehman is the Executive Director of War on Want, and a lifelong campaigner against racial and economic injustice. He is at the forefront of the climate justice movement, helping to reframe climate as an issue of racialised capitalism, economic and social injustice. Asad co-founded the Global Campaign to Demand Climate Justice, is Co-Convenor of the Global Green New Deal Project, and is a founder of the Stop the War Coalition.

Salma Hussain

Salma is passionate about utilising technology as an enabler to build communities and bring about positive societal change. As an AI and Data Consultant at a big 4 consulting firm, she supports public sector organisation data transformations to better leverage data to inform strategic decision making of billion-pound budgets. As a passionate award-winning community builder, she supports many muslim organisations such Cube, Muslim Leadership Foundation, Muslamic Makers and Muslim Tech Fest.

She wants to help level up people of colour through upskilling on areas such as networking, personal branding and more so that individuals can better advocate for themselves and become civic leaders to make positive change in their own fields.

Outside of professional pursuits and community building, she enjoys reading, embroidery, baking and musicals.

Shanza Ali

Shanza is an international development consultant with over a decade of experience and specializes in promoting sustainability, gender justice, micro-finance, and youth empowerment. Throughout her career, she has skillfully developed and implemented policies, orchestrated and managed impactful campaigns, and designed comprehensive programs aimed at amplifying the voices of gender and climate justice advocates from diverse global communities.

Shanza is also the Co-founder of Ardh, a platform for culturally diverse ethical brands and a community for the ethically minded. She’s passionate about empowering ethical brands from the global majority, and creating a new ‘culture of sustainability’ that centers the knowledge, role and experiences of culturally diverse people.
